Intellia
Serious Game, Education, Character Design
Intellia is an educational and interactive video game designed for children aged 10 to 12. It proposes a broader, more accessible and positive way of understanding intelligence. Inspired by Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, the project invites players to explore six different abilities: linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, bodily-kinaesthetic and emotional.
The experience is structured as a journey of self-discovery made up of six mini-games, each designed to activate a different way of thinking, solving problems, expressing oneself or relating to others. The progression is non-linear, allowing players to explore the different areas freely and create a personalised experience.
As the challenges are completed, the system generates a visual map reflecting each participant's strengths and results. In this way, Intellia avoids classifying players as «intelligent» or «not intelligent» and instead highlights the diversity of their abilities.
With a minimalist, colourful and approachable 2D aesthetic, the project combines character design, narrative, interaction, sound and Unity development to transform learning into a playful, intuitive and meaningful experience.
